The straight answer: any hotel can be couple friendly in Bangalore if its visitor rule and its ID rule suit you. So ask about both before you pay. We never name hotels, because a manager can change the rules over one weekend.
Ask the hotel four things before you pay
Unmarried couple hotels in Bangalore are not a separate kind of building. They are ordinary hotels whose house rules happen to fit two adults. Put these four questions to the hotel over a call or in the booking chat.
- Will the desk let a visitor go upstairs to your floor? Some hotels say yes. Others keep visitors in the lobby, or want them added to the booking as a second guest.
- Whose ID will the front desk ask for? Many hotels ask every adult guest for ID, not only the one who booked.
- Is a Bangalore address on the ID a problem? A few hotels do not take local ID. Others are fine with it. Policies differ, so ask.
- Do visitor rules get stricter late at night? Some desks are relaxed at 7 PM and fussy at 11 PM.
Some booking apps carry a couple-friendly or local-ID filter. Use it, but read the hotel's own house rules too. The filter and the man at the desk do not always agree.
Can I bring a girl to my Bangalore hotel room?
Yes, at a hotel that allows visitors to the room, once you follow its ID rule. Check in first, so the booking shows your name and the key card sits in your pocket. Then send us the room number.
Hotel, service apartment, PG or gated flat
Tap where you are staying to see what to check and what to send us.
Hotel: Before paying for the room, ask reception whether a visitor can go up; plenty of hotels log each adult's ID. Afterwards WhatsApp the hotel's name and room number to us.
Service apartment: Usually the smoothest choice: your own door, no lobby queue. Message us the building name, then tower, then flat.
PG: Most PGs in Bangalore keep guests out completely. Take a short-stay room nearby for the evening, then send us that address.
Gated flat: Warn the security cabin that a visitor is due, or approve her on the society's visitor app. Then message us tower and flat.
The kind of roof over your head decides how smooth the visit is. Here is each one in short, then a table to keep handy.
Hotels that allow visitors in Bangalore
Big hotels watch the lift lobby, and most still write a visitor's name at the desk. That is normal, not a red flag. Ask the rule while booking and nobody gets a surprise at reception.
Service apartments and business hotels
These are the easy ones. Service apartments near ITPL, Manyata and Electronic City house men on long projects, so nobody blinks when the flat bell rings at 9 PM. Some business hotels on ORR are used to guests coming up for work meetings too.
PGs
Most PGs do not allow guests in the rooms, and the warden means it. Do not try to walk anyone past the gate. Hire a room close to your PG instead, hotel or service flat, and meet her there.
Gated societies
Gated flats run on visitor entry at the gate. The guard calls your flat, or the society app asks you to approve the name. Tell the guard a visitor is due, or approve her in the app ahead of time.
| Place type | What to check | What to send us |
|---|---|---|
| Hotel | Visitor allowed up to the room? ID for every adult? Local ID taken? | Hotel name and room number |
| Service apartment | The guard's visitor book, any late-night limit | Building or tower, flat number |
| Business hotel | Visitor rule once the meeting hours are over | Hotel name and room number |
| PG | Guests are nearly always stopped | A hotel or service apartment instead |
| Gated society flat | Gate entry: a guard call or app approval | Society name, tower, flat number, map pin |
Hotel belts, side by side across the city
Bangalore hotels bunch up along the roads people travel for work. Pick the side near your office, your meeting or your flight.
East: Whitefield, ITPL, Old Airport Road
ITPL Main Road and Whitefield Main Road are lined with business hotels and service apartments built for tech-park visitors. Closer to town, Old Airport Road past HAL has an older row of hotels. Our Whitefield escorts page shows who covers the east.
South: Koramangala, HSR Layout, Electronic City
Koramangala keeps small hotels along 80 Feet Road and near the Hosur Road edge. HSR Layout is mostly service apartments and flats, by sector. Electronic City Phase 1 has tech-park hotels close to where the long flyover from Silk Board lands. More on Koramangala.
Central and North: MG Road, Majestic, Hebbal, Yelahanka
MG Road, Brigade Road and Residency Road hold the old centre hotels; see MG Road. Majestic has cheap lodges near the railway station and bus stand, so ask the visitor rule before paying.
North, hotels follow the airport road from Hebbal up through Yelahanka, handy when your flight leaves at dawn.
What to send us once the room is yours
One WhatsApp is enough. Hotel guest? Send its name, then the room number written on your key card cover. Service apartment or gated flat? Building or society, tower, flat number and a map pin for the cab.
Add the start time and the length: 2 hours, 3 hours or the night. Your address never moves the price: ₹15,000 for 2 hours, counted out in cash once she walks in. On a drizzly evening the cabs crawl, so leave a little slack.
Not sure your building will let a visitor in? Ask us first on the contact page and we can talk it through.
